Enabling Proactive Person-Centred Approaches
We know how to develop and resource staff with health coaching and person-centred skills, expertise and practice - and how impactful it is! To implement these proactive approaches, we also recognise that colleagues often need to overcome workplace constraints and ways of working, that inhibit new styles of practice.
Drawing on our extensive experience of applying leadership, team-working, and quality improvement support, from our own frontline clinical practice to the many teams we have now supported, we offer innovative system support packages and consultancy to enable system changes and cultures that enhance person-centred care.
How we do what we do...
We work with local teams, leaders, patients and staff at all levels to help them review, redesign and implement new ways of working. This applies to NHS, Social Care, Voluntary Sector and other Workplace Environments.
Our support teams combine experts by experience with health professionals, all with the best of organisational development and facilitation skills. Each program is carefully designed to complement our comprehensive training offer and to enable workplace health, wellbeing and caring systems to make the best of the new skills their staff bring.

A Bespoke Approach...
Each program of support is a little different. We will co-design delivery with you. Often this involves a series of workshops. These may be in-person or online, or a mix as best suits you, ranging from a few hours to a full day at a time.
Our central aim is to make all our work with clients interesting, engaging, high value and relevant to the development needs of people and systems. We strive to offer restorative and wellbeing-focused training and consultancy experiences that recharge and re-enthuse individuals and teams for their work.
Case Example:
In 2023 we supported 20 Primary Care Networks (PCNs) in Greater Manchester in a 6-month proactive personalised care program. In 2024 they invited us back to work with 30 more PCNs.
In the latest iteration of support, we co-designed a ‘Why, What, How’ series of events.
Why?
Develops a compelling case for change that resonates with local experiences and
Introduces Quality Improvement (QI) and Coaching Skills.
What?
Engages people to make use of local data to decide the groups of people to focus on and types of proactive interventions they want to pursue.
How?
Colleagues are supported to deepen their QI skills as a team and develop a doable plan of action.
This work has led to multiple new proactive care projects, reducing health inequalities and improving patient care. It has also left enduring enthusiasm and new personal and team-wide skills.
