Privacy and Cookie Policy
1. Welcome and Important Information
We're really pleased you've taken the time to read our Privacy and Cookie Policy. At Peak Health Coaching, we genuinely care about your privacy and are committed to handling your personal information with the utmost respect and care.
This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your personal data, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), and other relevant laws. It covers why we need your information, the lawful reasons we process it, who might see it, and your rights.
We act as the "data controller" for most of the personal data you share with us. In some cases (such as when delivering courses commissioned by another organisation), we may act as a "data processor" on their behalf.
You have the right to object to certain types of processing, such as where we rely on our legitimate interests or for direct marketing (including any related profiling). You'll find more about your rights in the "Your Rights" section below.

2. About Us

If anything in this policy isn't clear or if you'd like to chat about your data, please get in touch with us at info@peakhealthcoaching.com. We're always happy to help.

3. Personal Data We May Collect and Why
Personal data means any information that could identify you, either directly (like your name) or indirectly (like how you use our services).
We collect information such as:
-
Contact details: Your name, email address, phone number, postal address, and other details you provide when booking a course, signing up online, or getting in touch.
-
Course-related information: Responses to pre- and post-course questionnaires, notes or details shared during workshops, courses, or sessions.
-
Correspondence: Anything extra you share when emailing, calling, writing, commenting on our site, or contacting us in other ways.
-
Survey feedback: Responses to optional surveys that help us improve what we do.
-
Booking and payment details: Information related to your course registrations or payments, handled through our site or Arlo.
-
Website visit details: Traffic data, general location info, weblogs, and pages viewed, mainly for understanding how our site is used.
-
Zoom session data: When joining online courses or meetings via Zoom, this may include your name, display name, email, video/audio feed (if you choose to enable it), chat messages, and basic device details.
-
Data necessary for employing or working with you: We are required by law to process certain personal information about you in order to meet our obligations as an employer. This includes assessing you as a candidate for potential employment. The same applies if we either are or considering working with you as an associate, consultant, tutor, or agent.
We use information to register you for courses, manage your booking and our ongoing relationship, deliver high-quality training and support (including via Arlo and Zoom), personalise your experience where helpful, and meet our commitments to you.
